Why arent you in the office today it is Friday Francois
uh oh

and I felt a little one Wed night @ 11pm in Campbell. I think it centered in Alum Rock.

Big one coming? It has been quite a while. Stock your supplies now.
Guess Beer O'Clock is starting early. Switching to the hard stuff if the big one hits...

im only 6 miles from the epicenter and todays didnt really feel like much compared to yesterdays. i think the little ones are good since it should be relieving stress that would otherwise build up into a big one.

Plates are always moving, stress relieving in one place could only mean the tension transferring to another place along plate boundary. So the stress relieved on the calavaras fault yesterday could cause the plate to shift, adding stress to, say, the Hayward fault right next to it.

Taking my amateur geologist hat off now.
Still small aftershocks happening

Here near 237 and Great America, still feeling a few aftershocks.
Office chair has no suspension though.

ah that makes sense. as long as its shifting stress from the fault by my house to a fault somewhere else then hey its all good.
