E150 sizing?

So, I know nothing about dual crown forks; can anyone tell me if an E150 taken off a large Enduro frame will fit on a medium frame? I'd expect it would just be a matter of cutting down the steerer, but I'd like to be sure.

If it's an 07 lg you'll be ok, in 08 the lg bikes got the lg fork, your stanchions will just poke out more up top if you do in fact have the larger fork.
I like to use the XL E-150 , it has 1" longer stanchions, and 1" longer extensions on the bottom of the cartridges--( either can be shortened if need be ) ,and gives you more options for chassis height and will work on any chassis.

I actually wished there was a slightly longer XXL , this would give the XL chassis guys more options on bar height with raising or lowering the stem .
Thanks for the answers! I'm just trying to make sure that the fork from a large 2008 Enduro will fit on my medium 2009 frame.
