You've been on the 07 RS (Lyrik in one of its 3 incarnations) and Zokes (All Mountain 1 SL with Maxle), right? Which do you feel is a better setup for the 06 or 07 MKIII?

Personally, I'd reccommend a shorter travel and lighter fork on the MKIII especially the 2007, which is substantially lighter. If you are set on a longer travel fork for the 2006 frame, I really dont think that you can go wrong with either. They are both great feeling forks.

Like... the Pike 454 Air u-turn?
Not sure if it will be possible to buy the fame only but I have already bought a Revelation, that is currently on my SC Chameleon SS, and was thinking of moving it over on the new frame to reduce the weight even further over the Pike Race.

I rarely used more than 130mm of travel on the Pike anyway over here.

if I may butt in a bit

I remember DW mentioned liking the 07 Fox's. Wouldn't the '07 36 TALAS be the perfect fork for a 5-6" travel bike? The new 3-position TALAS II gives you the option of running at 100m for climbs and 160mm for descents. Would the middle, 130mm setting be too tall for the MKIII?
07 forks will be 140mm Marzocchi AM's on the Sport & Comp and Pike's on the Expert & Team.

The only thing I would improve on my 454 air u-turn is putting the Lyrik's 160-to-115 knob. One quick turn instead of 12 little turns. Didn't think I'd ever use the U-turn....until this week's climb-fest.
Thoughts on throwing one of the

Fox Vanilla 32 140mm forks on?
The price vs features for most Fox forks at the OEM level is prohibitively expensive in my opinion. I therefore use their forks sparingly for specification.

I've always been amazed at Foxs OEM prices.

When are we going to see the '07 Sundays? Will humans be able to get them before early early season races next year?
