With all the shortages going on, and how quick the tech is evolving, am I crazy to buy duplicate frame sets and components? I am approaching 50 so no crazy riding going on for me. I am really happy with my full suspension and gravel bike that are both less than a year old. Both frames have lifetime warranties. I do not see any future upgrades or geometry changes that would make me happier than what I have now. I just don't want to be left out in the cold should a crash occur or the new 15 speed drivetrain be the only option. Am I cuckoo?

Personally, I wouldn't do that. I've liked what I've owned but I've always found something new and different.
