Hi all!!

This forum has more experts per square inch on Zoke maintenance, and I'm searching for an answer to a rather dumb question.

I don't have yet a thinned socket to remove the footnuts, but I'm willing to do an oil change even if I can't clean the cartridges and lowers.

Can I just pull out the topcaps of my AM1 and do the oil change?
Anything that could get damaged?

I think the ETA should be no concern, but not sure on the TST side. As it's a closed cartridge, maybe rotating it can damage the bottom seal?

Thanks for your help!

You have nothing to worry about with TST as far as damage. The one thing I would worry about is that the debree won't get past the cartridge as it fits pretty snug inside of the stanchion, so you oil change will be pretty ineffective. The other side would be easy, dump old stuff out, pour new stuff in.
