I've changed a Fox Fork with a DUC32 and now wondering about the bottom Headset. The Headset is a Cane Creek IS and fixing well at the top side. As I've read in another threat, there must be a crown race befor installing the bottom bearings! I didn't have one! The inner diameter of bottom bearings (TH Industries 1-1/8" ACB36x45) is 30.1mm. But lower Crown steerer shaft is 30.0mm. So there is not enough space for a crown race, right?
What would be the right headset for DUC32 / ML7?

Cane creek is not the good standard for Maverick, wrong angles, doesn't fit well the front tube. Campy standard works well. Buy a new one, FSA, Ritchey and you will have a crown race + good angles bearings.

if you have a cane creek, it should be from the IS42 series, e.g. 40.IS42 Short Cover

i have an older model, the IS 2i ( I think there were 3i and 8i models too, where the 'i' specifies 'italian' (campy). it does need be tightened up a little more than the FSA in order to stop the bearings fidgeting in the head tube, but otherwise mine seems to be working fine ...
