I noticed that there are 2 different items
One with a silver spacer ( 3-parts product) and one without ( 2-parts product)
What is the difference ?
I have the one with the silver plate on my XM501 wheels
Looking to get one for a new Front wheel non-boost with DT350 hubs
Please advise.

I’m pretty sure that silver piece is critical as it locks over the 6 pins, maybe that product photo just isn’t showing it?

I have noticed that they make different versions with different max rotor size printed on them though.

I know this is old but I emailed DT about this a while back and thought someone might want to know the answer at some point....so...FYI,

They said the one without the washer/3rd piece is an older version and the one with it, is a newer version. They also said the newer version has a lower total stack height and can fit some applications that the older one might cause rubbing. The given example was a road or gravel bike that has a ridged fork that is smaller and closer together and less room for everything.

There appears to be plenty of new old stock out there floating around and both types should work fine for most applications, particularly if going on a MTB.

I just bought the DT adapters with the silver plates for my gravel bike (2021 Diverge) new wheels and can confirm it worked fine both front and rear.
