Can anybody comment as to whether this can be done. According to DT, the QR endcaps of the 240s standard rear hub and the 240s Single Speed rear hub are the same. That said, it would figure thqt the 10mm version endcaps would also be the same. The difference is in the rear inner axle. Obviously the 10mm skewer axle fits through the standard version, but what i don't know is if the 10mm skewer will fit through the SS middle inner axle.

Anybody out there know?

Yes, I ran one like that with no issues. Got the 240S rear 10mm end caps and added a 10mm RWS thru bolt. If you start with the bolt on version you don't even need different end caps; just the RWS thru bolt.
