I'm looking at a dt 340 hub set thats for sale, im curious if anyone knows if the front QR is convertible to 20mm through axle. I cannot seem to find anything on DT's site that says it is not, and the product write up on their site says 100mm/20mm (so im assuming its convertible?). Can anyone shed some light so i can swoop a cheap hub set before someone else does. Thanks

340s are not convertible. 240S and 440 hubs are convertible.

When I talked to the DT Swiss guys about converting mine from QR to something larger, they said no way. Maybe some of the 20/12/10mm ones can be converted down.

They said 340 is supposed be their lower line, not mean to convert between various standards.

DT340 QR F & R hubs are not convertible to thru-axle/bolt.

from DT Swiss..."The quick release 340 hubs are not convertible to thru-bolt unfortunately. There are thru-bolt and thru-axle 340 hubs, but these share the same platform as the 240 and 440 hubs and not the QR 340 hub platform. Inside bearing diameter prevents or allows axle configuration conversions."
