Guilt by association

I suspect that not everyone on the police list is actually doping. No one has been proven to be doping. It's guilt by association at this point.

I only wish that all pro sports were as willing to go after the cheaters as pro bicycling is.

Cheaters suck.

Take heart in the fact that cycling is so tough that it draws the heat that it does. I also seriously doubt that Ullrich and Basso are doping, risking their careers, especially Ullrich. He'll probably just retire after this year...

the old head of the french cycling frederation feels that "the sport has no more credibility as a sport". Its one side, he feels that the sport is no longer decided by tactics and training, but more on the effectiveness of drugs. You see incredible athletes trailing then all of a sudden leading the pack - no one questions. He sees the sport as just another media event to draw attention to the sport and only in that respect is it good.

I can't name a sport where some form of physical enhancement isn't used, oh wait, maybe horseshoes. Let the pro's do what they want and put on their "shows", and sorry if i dont think they're really amazing, but they do put the sport in the limelight.
