Hi,
Can anyone recommend a decent dropper seat post for a specialized chisel comp. I will attempt to install myself

All have been awesome posts all functioning well with their own pluses and minuses.

I just put a Tranz X on my old SIR 9, with the external cable. This is the same as the PNW Pine. So far I like it. It does have a tiny amount of wiggle when you grab the saddle, but you do not feel it while riding. PNW has a few options since you can run the Chisel with internal or external routing for a 27.2 post. Though there is this on Amazon if you want to try it for a minimal cost at first.

Hi. I installed a PNW 27.2 Rainer with 110 mm drop. Spring operated (no air to mess with). VERY happy with it.

I did a video of the installation here:

Remember to get a 27.2 size. Limited options. You can go internal or external routing.

But after a dozen rides, I am very happy with the PNW.
