I am shopping for a dropper post. Pretty much settled on the KS lev, but can't decide between the 100and 125mm posts.

I have a medium 2013 scott genius 740. Is there any reason to not get to 125mm version beyond personal preference? Are there any measurements I need to take to make sure it'll work with my frame? I would think this would be more critical for smaller frames, but not mediums.... But thought I would ask around.

Thanks

Just make sure your normal seatpost is about 150mm extended in your normal peddling position. If not, full up on a dropper may be to tall for you.

+1, you want to be able to sit on it fully up. I have a 100mm and it is plenty.
