I am going to get a dropper for my medium 2013 genius 740,but am unsure what length drop to get.

I am planning on getting a KS lev, and can't decide between the 100and 125mm posts. Which do people have with this frame? And what are the risks getting the 125mm version?

Thanks for any help.

I have a 125mm Reverb Stealth on my 740 and it works great.

I'll be picking up a 2013 genius 930 later this week. Can I get the LEV that has the internal routing, or do I need to get the regular LEV? I see the 930 is advertised as having internal routing for the Rockshox Reverb stealth dropper post, but cant seem to see if the LEV will work too. I'm thinking about going for the 150mm drop.

Rhinodriver-- Can you post a couple of pics showing the cable routing? It would help me out a bunch!! Thanks:)

The routing runs down the underside of the bottom tube. All the clips that run underneath have a space for an extra cable. Then it runs under the bottom bracket to behind the down tube where you start the cable back up toward the seat post. At the bottom of the down tube on the back side there is a hole for the cable to route into. It's pretty obvious when you see it. If I get a chance I'll post some pictures later.

Ah, I can picture it now. I've seen the clip looking thing on the down tube in a few random pictures . I just thought it was a place to secure the cable. Once you explained it running under the BB and the bottom tube makes a ton of sense.
Thanks!

PS pictures are always welcome.

So you can see from the first pic that the addition of a dropper really clutters things up front. It's worth it though... The dropper was the best upgrade I've done so far. Pic two shows the routing going down the tube. The last one shows where the cable goes into the seat post tube. The whole thing is pretty clean once it gets to the down tube. It installed pretty easily and I'm not super handy. YouTube probably has a video like they did for the reverb.

Those are awesome thanks! I have a dropper on my current bike and love it, but need to get a new one if I buy the Genius because the seat post is bigger than my current ride.

BTW,
Hextall - get the 150mm with internal routing!
FWIW, I have the 125mm and I never use all the travel. That's even in some pretty technical stuff. I bet I could have saved a few bucks and gotten the 100mm. I guess if they're the same price go for more travel.

Make sure you can reach the pedals when it's all the way up otherwise you aren't going to like your dropper post.:madman:
