I did it on the CS-197 and I'd bet there's some similarity. I used the front-D hole and routed it down to the BB, this is where it was tricky, there was a hole above the BB I could get my finger into, so after a while of fishing around I was able to push it up into the ST. It was difficult...but easier than routing my Foes internal cable that is intended to be internal.

Could a guy just route a housing prior to BB installation or is there not room for that?

Actually, I was able to get it set up internally. It took me a while to figure out which method would work for this bike, but (in case other people find this post) I ended up using a 4' strip of duct tape folded over the long way. Put a washer for weight on one end and secured the housing to the other. Dropped the washer end down the seat tube, manipulate the frame until the washer goes past the bb andfalls down the down tube... Towards the head tube. .. Once it gets to the head tube, just pull it all through, then you can reach in and push the housing to exit the frame. Takes less than 5 min.

That would be my advice, run the dropper cable first, before you install anything else. Just like the post above, being able to pull it through the frame without the headset/fork is just as important. It's not too hard to trim housing once you got it in place.

I received a CS197 frame from UPS today, plan to build a rigid fork Shimano 12speed rig with dropper and some Nextie carbon 27.5 wheels. I have some raceface cranks and an aluminum bar to put on it. My goal is a lighter, longer and more comfy bike than what I have now.
I have a brand new set of ICAN 26 carbon wheels that I think I will hold onto until I have decided if 27.5 is for me.
