Two years ago today I put my crosscheck into use, now the ride is 20 pounds lighter. Instead of having to pay for light weight parts, the weight came off me a lot cheaper. And did that weight ever make a difference. There is a hill nearby, 11.5 miles, 3000’ elevation gain. The first time on the crosscheck, (soon after I got it) it took me 2 hours, and I had to stop a few times, (no granny ring on that crosscheck). Now this last spring it was 74 minutes up to the top. Best part is, now I can ride the same bike on dirt up that hill, have done so half way so far. Try that on your fancy ultra lightweight, ultra expensive road bike
