I recently built up a sweet HT Dragon, having ordered a frameset and swapped bits from my FS bike. Having discs, I don't need the v-brake/canti posts. Unlike my Surly 1X1, they don't just screw out of the bosses on the seatstays. They are welded/brazed in place.

I have a setscrew in them to keep them from crudding up, but I would really like them gone.I am leaning toward cutting off rather than applying heat of any sort (as the hard-core fixies do to remove unwanted braze-ons). Any thoughts / tips?
Anyone ever see a rack made to mount on these posts? just a wild thought...
