Shuttles just shut and there’s been one storm. Anyone know if you can still access packer saddle via the road? Would like to self shuttle this weekend.

Pretty sure the road to the saddle is fully snowed in for the season. I was up there 2 weeks ago, and it was snowed in (unpassable) from Packer Lake. Even if you ride up to the saddle from the lake, there'd be snow (with a solid or ice base) down Sunrise and Butcher to about the waterfall. I rode up to Big Boulder (via Lavazzola and 3rd Divide) which was great (though obviously not a fun as shuttling from the top). North Yuba is also riding well from town

Or you could check with the guys at California Expeditions in Georgetown to see if they are running. Lower altitude (no or much less snow), and plenty fun riding!!
