hello,
i am going to be in Chamonix France on july 12th and 13th and was wondering if anyone could give me some info about biking in chamonix i.e. rentals..guides.. good trails etc...

hi iam out in chamonix from the 9th for a week, not sure if iam going to get guiding yet as i think alot of them mostly do alot of climbing and iam not climbing on 45lb bike:nono:

thanks...do you know if there is any lift serviced terrain thats not too far off the beaten path to ride alone

the brevent lift has a good 40min downhill track going from it thats right above the town centre. Also there are quite a few rental places in town, for a good bike i think it was 100 euro's a day. We could always meet up to save riding solo

I did some ridin in the Chamonix valley couple years ago, besides the Brevent run check out Argentiere for real steep and technical dh and also its worth headin over to les houches where there are 2 lifts and plenty of sweet singletrack (marked as hiking paths).
