I'm getting a dos niner built up for me, picking all the components now. 26 lb a reasonable goal for this bike? Without having to mortgage my house?

Yup-very reasonable- I have 20' with avg to good components, with pedals it's 27 lbs. Here is what I have:

DT Swiss TK7's to DT swiss 340's
Sram x9 shifters-x9 derailer
Race face x type crank
Thomson post
Race face Deus stem
Avid bb7's
959 pedals

Just ordered mine. Should be at 26. Spent a bit more than I wanted, but I guess it's worth it if I don't have to swap stuff out later on.
