Hi all, I have an 05 Dorado that I no longer need because I recently got an 11' Dorado for my WFO. A few days ago I took a spin on my friends RIP with a Marz 140mm fork on it and I really liked it. So I am considering on getting a RIP frame and to save some $$$ on a new fork I would put on the 05 Dorado. My first questions are: Is it safe to do? Would it be a waste of a sweet fork? Too much fork for a RIP? Any other reasons why this is not a good idea?

I had originally intended to sell it but if I can use it for another bike build why not. I just love that fork, it's sooo plush!

Any imput is apreciated.

I am thinking the only people who know the answer to this work at Niner.

You would need to shorten the fork, they will tell you by how much.

Not sure if the DC will cause an issue.

Ask Niner and stick what they say, having a frame snap sucks, especially if you have just landed a jump and have a lot of energy to dissipate.

Thanks CG, I will talk to Niner and see what my options are. If it's a no go I will just sell it like I had originally intended.
