Just a heads up. I changed my rotor and noticed the HL bolt was within a couple mm:eekster:

Since I've had the bike, the non-drive HL bolt on my EG would never go past 105-110 inch pounds, just hovers.

I've found that just over 100 inch pounds is plenty tight;)

probably not heat treated right. if it won't make the specified torque, that's a good sign the strength is low.

Avoids smashing the bushings and wrecking the clevis link I think. It would be easy to smash the parallel out of whack.

This neve happened on my ML, then again I have a ton of hard miles on this bike already and I'm not light. Most riding ever in a year for me, 3 full tear downs/maintenance.
