I asked Ritchey the same question.

Only the WCS Matrix Carbonalloy 4-Axis O/S Stem has Ti bolts. They are Taper head Titanium bolts.

I asked Ritchey if I could add Ti bolts to my regular 4-Axis stem and they said yes - use good judgment, good quality bolts and Ti prep. Also check the torque.

They do not sell them (Ti) as an upgrade.

The WCS Carbon 4-Axis is the only stem out of 20 that they use Ti on. The rest are very high strength stainless steel.

I asked for the engineering specs on the bolts - but of course they wouldn't release that info.

What is the size (I am too lazy to go and get calipers..)
I did the change on my stem, I believe they are M5x17.5 (possibly M6 but I can't remember off the top of my head). There is a thead over at ww.

The only issue that I had is that there were some convex washers on the original steel bolts that create a flat surface for the bolts to sit on (stem holes have concave shape). But I wasn't able to just slide the washers off the steel bolts.........so i ended up cutting the old bolt heads off. The Ti bolts fit nice and snug now.
