I chose 1. Even when I ride with someone, I ride alone. And then changed it to 5. Well said. Someday I'll have friends.

Also, thread title doesn't seem editable. That typo bugs me.

I only ride with someone if they pay me $10k. Also, they have to deal with me high posting all the time. Anyone know someone who might be down for that?

I ride alone. I ride with friends. I ride with my girlfriend. A lot. (Note: “with”.) I ride this. I ride that. If I’m on two wheels, it’s all good as far as I’m concerned.

Most days I start alone, but there's a weekly group ride and if I run into someone I know we'll usually end up riding together. Haven't ridden with Sparty's gf, but not opposed as long as he's cool with it (or better yet, there!). Still can't vote.

When I’m on a group ride, I don’t expect to ride alone—or dropped. Why else would I ride with people otherwise?

Man, there has been a lot of tough love out there over the years. It’s shocking that she doesn’t hate me by now.

Best riding partner ever. When I ride with my friends, all that is reinforced. She is true grit. So proud of her.

Ok this i agree with. I won’t ride with a large group (anymore than 3-4 people). Faster people usually split off anyway.

A friend of mine was riding with another guy this summer. The guy he was riding with had a cardiac arrest while riding. My friend had to administer CPR to the guy to guy and call 911. If my friend wasn't there the guy would have died.

I help coach our local high school team, so I ride with a group a few times a week. But I like my solo rides or my rides with a buddy or two as well. I just like to ride.
It was helpful to not be solo when I crashed on The Crest back in August and ended up with a broken scapula and torn rotator cuff. Made the rest of the ride down suck a little less.
