Just wondering since I have not had a chance to ride.
How often you use and is it a hassle to reach when sufferin, or not just out for a chill/off day ride?

You don't need it. Maybe if you were doing sprinting hill repeats you'd want it, but with DW Link, and the tune that Chris has on these bikes, you will find that sometimes you will open the shock, to make the decent that much more fun, and then you'll forget you opened up the shock until you get to the top of the next climb... It's happened to me on every PIVOT I've owned.
