What frame are you planning on using it on. Potentially will void your warranty.

actually its now on my ellsworth moment.hoping that i wont encounter any problems with it.thanks
I have a moment with Hope tech V2's with standard 203' rotors, a rogue with Hope tech v2's with 203' vented floating rotors and an id with Hope m4's 180 floating rotors.
I originally ran a vented rotor on my moment but it vibrated sending a vibration through the frame so I swapped it for a standard non vented non floating rotor.

No problems with the frames at all
thanks for all your replies,i appreciate all of them.

I use 203 Hope Floating Rotors front and rear on my Moment. No issues other than fantastic braking.

Doesn't matter what you think of the power, no warranty on a Moment with an 8" rear disc.

BRAKES:

The Joker can handle a 6" rotor but not the 8". The Dare is our only bike that is designed to handle an 8" rotor. There are too many variables to know what length brake line you should buy. Take a tape measure along the route you will need to run your line and purchase close to that. I think you can cut the brake lines to fit.

Why run an 8" rear anyways? Most of your stopping power comes from the front brake. 8" is overkill and will void your warranty. World cup DH riders use 6" rear discs. Nuff said
You again? Power in braking for me is everything. Obviously, you're more interested in the fine print on a warranty card. But u won't hear me bouncing you're opinion. If the bike brakes, it brakes. If it's covered, it's covered. Some of us have deeper pockets than others. Again, it was only my opinion, wise guy.
...And before you get a chance to correct my grammar, which I'm sure is driving u nuts, yes, I used "brakes" instead of "breaks." Hope it keeps ya up tonight.

Locking up the rear is very important to you is it? He asked for opinions, I stated mine. Deep pockets? If you want to discount warranty, that's great. A lot of people don't and the OP should be aware he is messing his up by running a 203mm rear disc. Tough to feel the difference between power on a 6" rotor compared with an 8" on the rear. IMHO
I use hope Mono M4s, a 203 front rotor and 165 rear (on a decently built RFX with custom coil shock/marz 66). Plenty of power on both ends. Can lock em when I want, but I definitely wouldn't want a bigger rotor in the rear, I'd have less modulation and more weight for no good reason.
