I just don't feel like doing 4+hrs today

I have been going hard the last 2/3 months doing shorter rides during the week and long 4+hr rides every weekend, and have not missed a weekend ride since mid December. I have 5 weeks before a race and will be going hard the next 4 weeks. I just don't have the energy today.

Take the weekend off. It won't make that much difference (might even help if you're over tired) and you DEFINITELY don't want to mentally burn out only 5 weeks before the event.
