Sintered. Generally speaking, in the braking industry for bikes, if you see pads with copper based backing plates, the material is generally sintered metallic pads. The copper is very good at dissapating heat, hence the lower fade rate of sintered metallic pads under extreme demands. They will fade, it's just a lot harder to get them to reach that temperature point.

Anyone tried Swisstop pads on the one/mega? Which pads would you suggest, original Formulas sintered or some other brand?
