I'm just talking about the seattube. On my third different intense frame and each one has caused a lovely new thomson post to look beat up with whiye marks from me trying to get the post in after an hour. The 31.6 diameter just doesn't fit well into the frame. Is it meant to be that tight causing the thomson post to mark up?? :madmax:

No problems here

I noe have 4 intense bikes: Uzzi SLX, Spider, 5.5 & 6.6. I havn't had any setup problems. The only additional setup was to face the disc brake mounts.

No problems with a new Spider 29

Seat tube, head tube and bb shell all faced, chased and reamed nicely with no issues installing anything. The rear i.s. disc tab was off by about 1/16", but the handy old disc tab facing tool fixed it right up.

I have had three Intense bikes, no problems with any of the seat tubes at all.
One bike needed a wee bit of facing on a disc mount after a shuttle day.. I suspect it was bent in the trailer..
