Does anyone know if the 2007 SRAM Shifters have optical gear indicators on the shifter? The photos I've seen of the '07 shifters don't seem to have them. Thanks in advance!

The X7 ones do. X9 and X0 don't.

07 X7 Shifters are great and are a good match to X9 rear.

Wonder if you can use an XTR in-line indicator for a general idea of where your chain is on the cassette...

the twisters have indicators and so do the x7s, which are the same as last year's x9s. good value from the x7s this year.

probably not, as the cable pull is different on the sram derailers.
