Saw a post the other day about converting to a dj bike or something, just got the wheels turning and i thought hey i need one of those! My all mountain type bike is getting too specialized to cover urban and jumping as well. I searched craigslist and...nada. So if anyone know of a Dj bike for sale (you know fixed speed, 4" fork, hard tail, that type) for around 200$ i think i could scrounge up some bday money and maybe sell some stuff to cover it, thanks!

Trust me I understand the whole budget thing...im always in the same boat. But $200 is not realistic for a dj bike. I can see 400 but probably not 200. I built together a dj bike on a budget, and actually ended up getting alot of it for free, but you could probably put one together for around 400 if you look around.

I picked up a complete DJ bike off craigslist shipped for under $200. I think I had a 10 or 20% off coupon so at auction end it was really about $240 I think. It wasn't the greatest but it got me onto a DJ bike.

Sorry im 17 and to busy with school and sports to have a job so now im broke, im lucky to have the one bike i do have and was just looking into getting another when i have the money.

$200 isn't realistic for a bike with a front fork. I recently sold a Commencal MaxMax for $300, but it was rigid.

or there is a guy out of puru that will hand build you a frame and fork for 120 USD. A lot of us trials guys (destroyers of frames and parts) are standing by his frames.

You'll end up with a hunk of garbage for $200, youre better off saving up to like $500 then looking. Theres deals on djs but nothing really around $200. Get a bmx off CL and that will at least get you out there.
