Disc brakes

Any experience with Hope or Formula disc brakes? I'm thinking of trying something different on this build. I was on the Avid Ultimate Carbon the last 3 years.

SS 29er, mostly SOMO with other AZ locales thrown in. Weigh 190.

Thanks.

I weigh 190+, and have used the AVID, Formula, Hope, and Hayes brakes. Hands down the formula have been my favorite (light, modulate well, and lots of power. I am on a SS29er. My vote is for the formula R1...

(i am trying some of the hayes stroker trails... because they are like $70 each, and have been impressed so far in the first few rides... they are not as good as the Formula... but $70 a wheel... was too hard to pass up!!)
Thanks for the info. A friend also says the Formula brakes are pretty good. He's recommending 'The One', since lightweight isn't as important.
I have hope w/tech lever and absolutely love them, adjustable and soo easy to bleed.
M4 183 front and X2 160 in back..

Where did you find them for this price?
Jenson USA has been blowing them out for $69 a wheel.

I second theFuzz, I have Hope Tech X2 front and rear and love them.
