I've got a trek 4100 (2003 model) that I'm looking to put some new Avid BB7 brakes on. Problem is that the rear of the frame doesn't allow the brake to be mounted, or proper alignment with the rotor. Is there some type of adapter I can get so that I can make these pieces compatible?

you need this adapter I believe

A trek dealer might have them, but I think that they are getting rarer
That is exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks a ton!
BTW: the the mounts are there, just not threaded. They have ~44-45 mm spacing which doesn't fit the 51mm spacing for the avid mounts.
