I'm trying to replace the axle on my rear XT hub. I'm guessing I have the wrong size cone wrenches 'cause I tried using my 15mm, 16mm cone wrenches and neither fit the slots on any of the cones/nuts. I'm guessing I need a 17mm cone wrench? Will I need more than one on that size? When I took apart my Deore hub, I was able to use an adjustable wrench to turn the outermost nuts. For this XT hub, it looks like the outermost nuts are slotted to take cone wrenches, too. So what's the deal here - can any advise on the tools I'll need to take this XT rear hub apart?

Thanks in advance.

Thank you very much, fellas. Turns out I needed only one 17mm cone wrench. Old axle came out, new axle went in, all tightened up, and the wheel's ready to roll.

Thanks again.
