For those running the DKG shift mounts w/dirt drops I have a setup ? for you.

I made a pair of the mounts, and got them all setup this weekend, but the aero cable routing on my brake levers comes out right where the band and tower needs to be. It will go over the top, but it seems to put a nasty bend in the housing.

Just wondering if anyone has had this problem and how/if they solved it.

Maybe the problem is I am using Tektro Rl-250 levers and Salsa Woodchipper bars?

I know, modern stuff . Maybe these type of mounts were used with non aero levers?

Looks like he just put it over the band and wrapped it.

I saw both Dave Garoutte (DKG) and Ross Shafer (Salsa) yesterday at the Trips for Kids charity gig at the Broken Drum. Dave, who plays bass and made his own instrument, drops by the studio and sits in with me and my friends now and then. Ross makes guitars instead of bikes and plays with his own group.

I rode to the Drum with Jacquie, saw Otis there, but I left before Chris Chance showed up. I had seen him the day before in San Rafael and had a friend who is a massage client relay word to him that he should come by. He did, and I blew it by leaving too early.

They're not split, just some chamfering around the edges to make them blend into the tower better.
