I ride a Psycle Werks, and it has the direct mounting disc brake option.
Instead of tabs, the caliper is directly screwed into the chainstay.

Does any one know about this? What models are availble in the direct mount style? Heard of and adapters or spacers that would let me use something else?

Is it 2 threaded holes 22mm apart? If so you've only got one good option.. Hayes.

You need a Hayes R22 caliper, which is the only one that fits directly. Used to be available cheaply on clearouts, but probably a hard to get these days.

You can also use one of these if there is space between your seat and chain stay for the adapter:

Available from https://www.discbrakeadapters.com/fs_show_item_details.php?item_id=8

Brake Therapy and a few others make this adapter too.

Cheers,

Tom
