I would get the 50. Second would be fork. Third would be the gear.
Dilemma
Parents are starting to wonder what I want for christmas, and I am considering a few things. Here are my options...
50cc moto. (Have wanted one for a while to tool around on, get around town... Have never had anything motorized so it really appeals. And no I will not be trashing any DJ's with it...) Its relatively cheap.
New Gear- 5050xx pedals, 5.10 shoes, TLD shorts/shirt (Plus extra shizzle...)
Rock Shox Pike/chopped 36 van to 80mm + some gear- I need a new fork for my HT, Not feelin the DJ1. But the other two are very appealing...

dont get the 50cc, it is dumb and will become useless. your very tall and it is very uncomfortable to sit on one. Plus you will probally end up pissing of people and it will get taken away. Get the fork!

Instead due to my connections i may get a chopped 36 rather than the pike...

i think you should get the 50 .theyre nice, you can like ride around and wheelie drop curbs and stuff
get a pike, you will like it, a 50cc will be fun but you will get tired of it, and some old lady will call the cops on you if you ride on the road alot.

JJ, the 36 is a huge improvement. The DJ1 is 8#s, the 36 is sub 6. And its MUCH shorter and I will actually get more than 1.5 inches of travel...
