Has anyone tried the warrior pro frame with an upgraded shock. Adrenaline is selling the frame for 299 so I was considering swapping out my vt2 parts. I like the vt2 but I want a larger frame.

I hear that a 7.5" shock with 2" shock trvel will work on it. I just bought one from adrenaline and am waiting for it to arrive

I would just try the shock before being concerned about replacing it. I know the RS Bar has a bad review rate, but people who I know who ride the shock are pretty satisfied with it. I like mine. A buddy on his Rocky Mountain likes his too.

Hey Own154, don't you have a KHS xc504 frame? If so, you can just put that shock with the rebound adjuster onto the Warrior. The KHS use a 7.5x2.0 shock, which may fit the Warrior.

Yeah I have the bar on my 2003 xc504 and it works fine. I was thinking that with the longer travel frame I might need spv. I doubt that the shock from my 504 would be optimum for the warrior since they have different travel lengths.
