Im currently looking for new rims to replace my spank tweet tweet's laced to pro II hubs. I run rubber queen 2.4 in the front and mountain king 2.2 for the rear. It occurred to me that I could possibly use an 823 rim in the front and 819 for the rear. Is such a setup recommended? The reason for me asking is that I know the 819 is sufficiently strong for my riding but yet too narrow to mount the rather wide rubber queen.

It will only limit your tire selection in the rear...otherwise it will work just fine (and save a little weight).
