I use always GX cassettes. I needed a new drivetrain, and now i am trying a black XX1 chain on the GX cassette.
My first impression is that the drivetrain is a lot more quieter and calmer than the GX chain. It feels also smoother and shifts better.
I buyed a black coated XX1 one. But is the black or gold coating on the XX1 just for the eyes only, or does it has a function over te non-coated X01 chain?
In other words: Is the collor the only difference between the XX1 and X01 chain? Or are there more (functional) differences?
