Difference between front and rear other than line length and adapter?

Due to an order mixup I might be getting two rear brakes, is there anything other than the line length and different adapter to consider? I don't think there is, just having a moment

Brakes are an Elixir model so the levers are reversible no problem.

I may be mistaken, but isn't the MC designed to mount only one way? i.e. - there's a top and bottom side to it. With two rears you'll be mounting one upside down. Not sure how much of a problem this is....just food for thought.
