Just wondering what difference(s) there would be running a 11-32 vs a 12-34 cassette on a 22/32/44 crankset? I'm not too familiar with calculating gear ratio and chain lengths and their relations to ride-ability.

What seems to be the more popular combination: 11-32 with 22/32/44 or 12-34 with 22/32/44.

11-32 is more popular than 12-34 however 9 speed users also like 11-34.

11-32 is more popular than 12-34 however 9 speed users also like 11-34.

11-34 for steep long climbs and high speed descents or road riding.
Almost went with 11-32 because it goes 11 then 12 instead of 11 to 13 but decided that I wanted the 34.
I live in a very hilly area so a wide range is nice.
Also with an 11-34 vs. an 11-32 you can stay in your middle ring just a little longer.
