I know the main differance is in the adjustability, but is it worth the extra 200 bux? can some one explain in like laymans terms the differance in how they feel and perform. i can either get the fr 3 now, or wait a month and get the fr2. i'm gunna be racing at diablo this year and need somthing that will put up with the abuse.

one more thing, how will putting a 150mm fork on a trek 4300 mess with the geometry and steering and all that. will it be usable for a month or two till i get one of those sexy soul cycles flat black titans frame

If I'm not mistaken the FR2 and FR3 both have ssv dampeninig and the FR1 has HSCV dampening. so yes IMHO the FR1 is well worth the extra $200 for the better adjustability, ETA and the better dampening.
