I got my Dad a Fox Shock Air sleeve rebuild kit from Push and He thought it was a total rebuild kit, So he proceeded to disassemble the entire shock..... I got a phone call from him, "Hey that kit you got me was wrong." I said: "that is the kit for the air sleeve on all the fox air shocks from 00' to present" . Well is the shock doomed or can he send it to Push and can they fix it? It was just leaking float fluid from the wiper seal area. Now look! Lol....

I'm sure PUSH can fix it. However, I believe the rebuild kits should have the wiper seal in them as well.

Not sure what damper he owns, but I hope it had the gas pressure released prior to opening it.

If not dad has likely taken a shower, and it's anybody's guess where the IFP launched to.

You guys don't get it..... He also dissembled the damper portion of the shock letting out the nitrogen!

I understand what he did, most likely the shock requires a special needle fill adapter.

Send it back to Fox, Push or whoever you would like that rebuilds dampers.

I hope when he tore it apart he kept the valve shims tied together, other wise send it to Push and get it revalved also.
