Diamondback Sync'r or Vitus Sentier 27 VR

I race XC, Enduro, and do downhill for fun, and I need a bike that can do them all. I cant decide between a DB Sync'r and Vitus Sentier 27 VR. I like the Calibre Line 10, but live in america and are having a hard time finding a reputable source that sells the line. I would really appreciate recommendations. If you know of a bike that you think is even better than the Sync'r and Sentier, than I would really apreciate a recomendation.

What is your budget? I think the Sync'r has better tire clearance for mud or a larger tire if you so choose. I'd also look to see if you can find a BC Podsol in stock. It's a German brand but they do ship to the US & price is very good.
There are actually quite a few bikes in that general category of "moderately aggressive trail hardtail" these days.

Nukeproof Scout
Ragley Big Al/Big Wig
Whyte 905/901
Canyon Stoic
Davinci Kobain
Norco Fluid HT
Salsa Timberjack
Kona Honzo

Most of the above models are somewhere in the trail category, most with ~65-66 degree HTA's. Which, IIRC, both the Sentier, and the Sync'r have 66 degree HTA's. So these should all be similar. I think many of them offer both an affordableish build and more expensive ones. But "most" of those will have something close to the Vitus and Diamondback pricing.

And thats not counting some of the more boutique ones, like the Banshee Paradox, Esker Japhy, etc.

The Whyte 805 looks pretty sic, think thats a good option?

Whyte makes great bikes. Their hardtails in particular have won a lot of awards (usually the 9xx series though).

The only feedback I'd give on the 805, is that compared to the others you started out looking at, its both slacker (64.5 degree HTA), and its a full (normal, non plus) 27.5in wheel bike.

If thats what you're looking for, I think you'll be happy with it. Its pretty sensibly spec'd, with good geo. And if you can find it in stock, I say go for it :).

Thanks, I really appreciate it.
