Nice! I can't wait to get up there!
Were you the guy with the new black/gold Jedi? If so, I saw you around lunch time right outside the shop. That bike is SICK!jutny said:It was a great day to be my 24th birthday. I got in a bunch of runs, thrashed the new Jedi, gave her the first scratch, and didn't hurt myself. Epic Win!
yeah that was me, you were sitting over at the tables? I'm Kurt, I'm not sure if I caught your name, I apologize.Dougie said:Were you the guy with the new black/gold Jedi? If so, I saw you around lunch time right outside the shop. That bike is SICK!
Yea man that was me! My name is Doug and I actually work as one of the techs at Diablo from time to time. That day I was just riding. Glad to hear that you got most of the bike dialed in. I won't be there this weekend unfortnately, but I hope to see you around this summer. I'm usually there one day every weekend working and riding the other day. You REALLY should put some pics up of that bike man, it's gorgeous. Good luck with it!jutny said:yeah that was me, you were sitting over at the tables? Thanks for the compliments man, it was my "birthday/christmas/got a raise" gift to myself... I also didn't want to deal with breaking the ReignX again this year
while i didn't get the front end dialed during the course of the day, i did get the rear end all set up, and let me tell you... it feels like cheating. You don't even know the rear end of the bike is there, it just tracks, its super plush, and I didn't manage to bottom it out once (or if I did, I wasn't aware of it, which is also a good thing)
I hope the weather holds so I can ride again this weekend and get her totally dialed.
bike's filthy, and got her first scratch, i'm so proud
*does happy dance*
