DHX Air on 5.5 anyone ?

Guess the Swinger's gotta go. No matter what I try, can't seem to get it to perform great on all situations. The DHX Air looks like a good fit to the 5.5 - you could set the propedal as you like it on the fly, from super firm for climbs to ultra plush for all other parts of the ride...
Anyone try it ? Does the DHX Air even fit on the 5.5 ?

I was under the impression that the Fox DHX Air didn't come in the correct I2I for the 5.5, could be wrong though?...

I guess you are wrong, I see Turner 5 Spots running around with DHX's, and they have the same i2i as the 5.5 (7.5) .
Aaah go for it then, there is no reason why it shouldn't work well.

Nice bike BTW pretty much the same spec I would build one...

When I had my 5.5 it took awhile to get the swinger dialed in just right (experiment after experiment). But once I did it was a great feeling shock. The only adjustment I felt I needed to make on the trail was the rebound.

Just my .02

Ps. By the way nice bike! :)
I put a DHX Air on my 5.5 and it's awesome. It is so plush that it is by far the most coil-like of all the air shocks I've tried. I liked the Swinger, but it started developing some wheezing upon compression and I knew it was time for a rebuild or a new shock.

I was surprised at how much air pressure was necessary to get the sag correct, but even with 225 pounds of pressure, it seems plush. I don't run a ton of pressure in the reserve chamber and don't run much pro-pedal, but so far the shock is very impressive.

The shock is not for weight weenies, but I'm guessing it's pretty close to the Swinger. The DHX combined with the PUSH link is a really nice combo.
