I am collecting parts to build up a 2011 Stumpjumper Comp M5. Looking for input on a rear derailleur.

I have all NIB Deore XT stuff so far. FC-770, 22, 32, 44 crank set and BB, CS-M770-9, 11 – 34 cassette, and FD-771 front derailleur.

Is the FD-771 a good choice for the FD?

Would an RD-M772 be a good choice for the RD? Is there an RD that would be better?

While I am asking. Medium or long cage RD?

What would be good for shifters?

I found a RD-M772 and a pair of shifters, SL-M751.
