I just noticed today the deore caliper on my daughter's bike has no bleed screw. Just a threaded bleed port for a recessed 3mm bolt. I attached a pic of the caliper with the bolt removed. I'm guessing I should be able to get a bleed screw somewhere to fit in the port, but I can't imagine why the caliper would come without one. I bought the brakes new from Jenson this year. I had to put on a new hose, and luckily was able to get the brakes working pretty well without a bleed screw.

Awesome, thanks so much! That hose adapter did not come with my set, but I'll pop that cap off and mess with the hose port next time around. After sitting vertical overnight, I got the remainder of the air out this morning.
