putting money aside i"d like to know wich one feels beter and why
persenoly i felt the hayes had more power
and the deore felt more sensetive
but thats from a short try
eny suggestions?

I would go with the 525's.......

I have both brakes and it amazes me how much more comfortable the Shimano levers are compared to the Hayes. Especially if you one finger brake. I think the Shimanos with EBC reds are more powerful and modulate better than the 9's. However both will fade on long decents if you are using them on a downhill bike. That is why I run Gustavs now.
