Just dropped my 2009 5 Spot and dented the top tube...

Pretty unhappy with my own stupidity but wondering if its safe to ride, thinking so but is that wishful thinking?

I fell off my old HL 5 Spot and the bike landed on rocks. Bigger dent than that, rode it for years and it's still going with another owner. Sure you'll be fine!

It's just a battle scar (ok not actually a riding incident). Ride on!

Worst part about it is that you can see while you ride.

Put a sticker over it so it doesn't bug you and keep riding.

Well I feel much happier after all your responses, thankyou. Gonna leave it bear and make out it happened in some narly manner!!! Better put that 2011 frame back on the shelf!!

This is why I'll never buy a carbon frame. If this were carbon, it might have cracked rendering the frame useless and not covered under warranty.

This frame is totally rideable and a dent like that only cosmetic. Even in the very unlikely event something happened at that area, Turner might still help out. Cant say the same for other companies.
